Hi this particular model is not waterproof, it is considered the breathable quick drying version, the waterproof version is the Gore-Tex version listed here https://www.enwild.com/adidas-outdoor.... Please note that while the Men's Terrex Free Hiker 2 utilizes a stretch knit collar the Goretex version employs a gusseted tongue in order to accommodate the waterproof bootie used during the construction of the shoe.
