Can you use two with a double-wide sleeping bag?

Ideally, two pads would work best with a double-wide sleeping bag that has two sleeping pad sleeves to keep the in place. If there is a single pad sleeve on the bag, it is possible the pads could shift underneath the bag and create cold spots. An alternative would be to use a sleeping coupler to keep them side by side underneath the sleeping bag.
