After adjusting for height, how do you lock the poles?

To lock the poles, please be sure both speed lock clasps are closed. If you find the poles are not holding under weight, open the speed lock clasp, and turn the gear wheel slightly clockwise. Then close the clasp and check if the pole hold under weight. You may need to adjust this gear wheel a few times until you find the right setting. If the clasp is difficult to close, then you have made the adjustment gear wheel too tight. Simply loosen the gear wheel slightly counter-clockwise until the clasp closes.
