The main difference in size options is the torso length. If you are unsure of your torso length, you can find out how to measure that here: How-to Measure your torso length The torso length in the small size is 16"-19", medium is 18"-21", and the large is 20"-23". There is a slight increase in capacity due to the length of the pack increasing as you go up in sizes. The small has a capacity of 3783 cu in (62L), the medium is 3967 cu in (65L), and the large is 4150 cu in (68L).
